Nicola and I have just arrived back from our honeymoon, and we wanted to express just how incredible the band was on the night. From the outset, you created the perfect atmosphere - I was upset that we were so distracted with photo obligations that we weren't able to enjoy the music with all of the guests! Music was always an important component of the wedding for us, so we wanted to ensure that we got it right. We were confident the group was going to be good, based on the CVs on your website, but they really exceeded our expectations. Never have I been at a wedding where the dance floor was full the whole evening - even from before we had expected the dancing to kick off! As you had said, they picked the mood perfectly, did not play one song that people (of all ages) didn't respond well to, and Jo's performance was just stunning. Please also pass on my appreciation to her for playing the extra number at the end when the missing groom had reappeared!

I really can't speak highly enough of the band. I've had so much positive feedback from the guests. I think a large part of the success of our reception was the music, which everyone could enjoy regardless of age and regardless of whether they were on the dance floor or just sitting and appreciating it.

My only complaint is that I had very sore feet by the end of the night because I couldn't stop dancing! Thanks for being so efficient and professional to deal with and, most importantly, for providing such fabulous music at our wedding.

Planning an event in another state is difficult, particularly without access to suppliers you are used to dealing with. I came across SJC via Google Search, and was very impressed from the start by the professionalism of the website communications and ease of obtaining a quote quickly. On the night the band arrived on time, dressed very smartly and took the initiative to use a piano available at the venue rather than their own keyboard knowing it would produce a better sound.

I just wanted to write to say how impressed we were with Sydney Jazz Collective. They were fantastic. Everyone was up dancing and was having a great time. They played all the songs I had requested at the right time and did the most sensational job.

These guys are just awesome!!! Very talented and professional musicians. The highlight of the wedding for many.

Despite the fact that the dance floor was outside and it started raining - the band kept playing and the guests kept dancing. Fortunately the rain stopped - the dancing continued and the band even agreed to stay for an extra half an hour.

We had a five piece band with a singer - worth every penny!!! This is really a good place to invest some money to guarantee a brilliant reception!

We have just returned from our glorious honeymoon and are enjoying reflecting on our wedding day. In particular the fabulous band!! We were thrilled with the music - lead vocalist was just gorgeous and the saxophonist was outstanding! I play saxophone myself and it was such a treat listening to such talent. We were really happy with the atmosphere that was created throughout the night and the volume was absolutely perfect. We had a few elderly guests at our reception and we were so happy that they all felt so comfortable. All of our song request were played and it was such a memorable experience dancing with my dad to "Georgia on My Mind" which was performed so beautifully.

I was also extremely impressed with the attentiveness of the band - it was beyond their scheduled playing time when I threw my wedding bouquet and seamlessly, they starting playing, "All the Single Ladies" - it was perfect!! We were happy with the iPod song choices they played between sets and I was very impressed with how accommodating they were to play our Bridal Waltz from our iPod. We received multiple compliments throughout the evening from our guests who were highly impressed with the band's musical talents, volume and pace of the evening - it was very hard to get people off the dance floor!! Thank you all very much for making our wedding night extra special and there are many of our guests (and ourselves!) who will be using you again!!

Apologies if this is too long but Sam and I were so so happy with the music (absolutely can't fault it in any way) and we literally have not stopped receiving compliments from many people about the music! I convinced my wife to have a live band on our wedding and she wasn't disappointed. As someone who engaged the services of live bands for Masonic functions, I know that live music is the way to go if you want your guests to have an enjoyable and memorable night that they will remember! I opted for the 6 piece including a female vocalist and my wife and I are very impressed with the results.
